To help the community better understand and address the needs of persons who
are homeless, Shelter Partnership conducts research and publishes studies, which
inform key policy initiatives.
Among our most recent studies include a strategic plan for homeless elder
adults, case studies of housing developments that include housing for working
families and person who have been homeless, and an evaluation of services
available in permanent supportive housing.

Shelter Partnership also works to educate and motivate local, state and
national officials to create effective policy responses and consensus on the
issue of homelessness. Toward this end, Shelter Partnership staff answer
questions and respond to requests for in-depth information on the homeless
population and needs. Shelter Partnership also speaks at meetings and events
throughout Southern California, and is an important resource to the media.
To continue being a voice in the community and in the political arena,
